In-Person Gathering Details During COVID

Lakewood Fellowship meets Outdoors at 10 am every sunday at the white Rock YMCA, weather permitting.

What To Expect: Given limitations (outlined below), our outdoor services will last approximately 60 minutes. Each service will include singing, prayer, a sermon, and a time for communion (elements not provided).

Inclement Weather Plan: All events will be outdoors and will be held as weather permits. Click here for our inclement weather policy. If we need to cancel an event due to weather, we will notify our email list, while also communicating the cancellation via our Instagram account and this website.

What to Bring to weekly services:

  • A facial covering for everyone in your household (mandatory except for those ages 2 and under),

  • Something to sit on,

  • A Bible,

  • Communion elements (for those who have professed their faith in Jesus),

  • A phone or tablet you can use to download/view song lyrics, and

  • If applicable, snacks/activities for kids in your household who may need help passing the time.

Service Location:
On April 25, our service will take place on the YMCA lawn (indicated by the yellow section in the graphic below) to allow for more shade from the sun, for those who prefer.

Safety Plan: To help mitigate any spread of the virus, we will meet outdoors. An individual will not attend a Lakewood Fellowship event if experiencing any symptoms of COVID. We will wear facial coverings at all times, except during the sermon and when taking communion, except for those ages 2 and under. We will keep at least six feet of physical distance between households at all times. There will be no physical contact (handshakes, hugs, fist-bumps, high fives, etc.) Parents will make every effort to help their children follow these safety guidelines.

Facility Limitations: The YMCA is currently closed on Sundays. Therefore, we will not have access to restroom facilities.

LWFKids Ministry: Kids ministry is on hiatus, until May 2.
