Serve at Lakewood
While much of our attention is focused on serving the local community, we still rely on many wonderful volunteers to do all of the things that make our Sunday gatherings possible. Here are some of the ways that you can serve our church family on Sunday mornings:
Partner with parents by volunteering to serve the children of Lakewood Fellowship as they grow in their understanding of God and His gospel. We have the opportunity to show our kids the love of God each week and help them understand that the Church is a place where they can experience grace and truth. Opportunities are available to serve downstairs with early childhood or upstairs with elementary.

Lakewood Connect
Enjoy meeting new people and making them feel at home? This is for you! Team members take help engage newcomers by welcoming them through our doors, and participate in the church service by serving communion, and ushering guests. The only requirement? A smiling face.

A/V Team
The A/V Team helps make all the technical aspects of Sunday mornings happen. Operate the song lyrics computer, run sound and help ensure a smooth service for everyone. Technical expertise is not required and training will be provided.

SET UP TEAM
A lot of work goes into having a church service at the YMCA. Join the Facilities Team and help us set up and tear down on Sundays. Volunteers serve in one of two shifts: 8:30am through the first service and 10:30am through the end of teardown.
