White Rock Lake Spruce Up

We have partnered with For the Love of the Lake to help keep White Rock Lake clean and beautiful for the community to enjoy for years to come. FTLOL is a non profit that has taken on the task of keeping the lake clean, and they partner with other organizations and businesses around the area to accomplish their mission.

Lakewood Fellowship adopted a portion of the lake shoreline, which is detailed in the map below. As a church, we spruce up our section once a month, but you are encouraged and welcome to clean on your own as often as you would like. Simply contact us to get some supplies, and then fill out the form below to let us know you helped so we can report our work back to FTLOL.

Our Adopted Shoreline

We have adopted shoreline section 53, the northwest section of White Rock Lake Trail.

How to find us: Look for the intersection of Kimberly Ln. and W Lawther. Kimberly Ln dead-ends into the middle of our adopted section. If you’re already on the trail, look for the section between the trail marker signs WRT148 and WRT149.

There is a parking lot to the north and a parking lot to the south of our section. You can also street park on Kimberly Ln. and walk across Lawther.

You can clean whenever you’d like, but we have scheduled spruce ups on the following dates:

  • Saturday, January 10 at 10am

  • Saturday, February 14 at 10am

  • Saturday, March 14, at 9am

  • Saturday, April 11, at 9am

  • Saturday, May 9, at 9am

If you took time to help pick up at the lake please report your service by clicking the button below. This helps us inform the FTLOL office that we are attending to our adopted section of the lake.
