Call To Worship - Psalm 62:5-12

Prayer:

Almighty God, whom truly to know is everlasting life: Grant us so perfectly to know your Son Jesus Christ to be the way, the truth, and the life, that we may steadfastly follow his steps in the way that leads to eternal life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Song: The Hollow

You spoke and set the cedars in their roots
Your voice it lit the sun and hung the moon
I stand in awe of everything you do
Oh you who spread the stars and made them new

Who has known the hollow of his hand?
Who is like the lord?
He who marks the heavens with a span
Over all the earth

You said that it would be and it was done
A promise made that cannot be undone
That from the fall comfort it would come
A victory was sure to be won

Your voice has set a captive people free
Your death has pardoned our iniquity
You loosed the chains of all our enemies
No longer slaves you call us family

When flowers fade your word will still endure
The earth will die and yet are hope is sure
You’ll gather up your people that you’ve saved
You’ll give us power and strength when we are faint

Testimony - Luke Pyeatt

Reading of the Word - Romans 10:11-15

At the conclusion of the reading, the speaker will say, “The Word of the Lord,” to which all reply:
Thanks Be To God

Song: You Alone

When this life has overwhelmed me and I feel like giving up
I will cling to all You’ve promised, it will always be enough

When the world around me crumbles and its hard to understand
I will run to You my shelter, I am safe within Your hands

You are my help forever,
I will not fear, God You are with me
I know You’re near, You’ll never leave me
I will trust in You alone

When I’m broken into silence, I can hear You whispering,
”You’re not alone here in these trials I will hold you faithfully.”

You are my help forever

I will not fear, God You are with me
I know You’re near, You’ll never leave me
I will trust in You alone
And when my heart and strength have failed me
My God You won’t, Your name is mighty
I will trust in You alone

Oh You are a fortress for the weak, the strength that carries me when I am on my knees
The cross reminds my heart to trust Your faithfulness and love will always be enough

Song: Yet Not I, But Through Christ In Me

What gift of grace is Jesus my redeemer,
There is no more for heaven now to give
He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom
My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peace
To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
For my life is wholly bound to His
Oh how strange and divine, I can sing, “All is mine!”
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

The night is dark, but I am not forsaken
For by my side, the Savior He will stay
I labour on in weakness and rejoicing
For in my need, His power is displayed
To this I hold, my Shepherd will defend me
Through the deepest valley He will lead
Oh the night has been won, and I shall overcome!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

No fate I dread, I know I am forgiven
The future sure, the price it has been paid
For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon
And He was raised to overthrow the grave
To this I hold, my sin has been defeated
Jesus now and ever is my plea
Oh the chains are released, I can sing, “I am free!”
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

With every breath, I long to follow Jesus
For He has said that He will bring me home
And day by day I know He will renew me
Until I stand with joy before the throne
To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
All the glory evermore to Him
When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat:
Yet not I, but through Christ in me!

Sermon: A True Narrative (Acts 13:13-14:28)

For those who call LWF their church home, Randy will lead a time of communion at the end of the sermon video.

Song: Center Of It All

I call to You in need of awakening
Come breathe new life into my soul
You speak like fire Your word is reviving me
Come breathe new life into my soul

So I will stand, I will sing,
I will tell of Your perfect love for me
I will rise and lift high the name of Jesus

There's no greater name I know,
There's no stronger love to hold
And I know You are the center of it all
You're my light and You're my truth,
Heaven and earth bend to You
And I know You are the center of it all
You're the center of it all

Benediction:

May we be compelled by the love of God, the gospel of Jesus, and the presence of the Holy Spirit to pursue His mission for our good and His glory.
