Order Of Worship
Call To Worship - Psalm 57:4-11
Prayer:
O God, whose blessed Son made himself known to his disciples in the breaking of bread: Open the eyes of our faith, that we may behold him in all his redeeming work; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Song: Here Is Love
Here is love, vast as the ocean, lovingkindness as the flood
When the Prince of life, our ransom shed for us His precious blood
Who His love will not remember? Who can cease to sing His praise?
He can never be forgotten throughout Heav'n's eternal days
On the mount of crucifixion fountains opened deep and wide
Through the floodgates of God's mercy flowed a vast and gracious tide
Grace and love, like mighty rivers poured incessant from above
And Heav'n's peace and perfect justice kissed a guilty world in love
Let me all Thy love accepting, love Thee, ever all my days;
Let me seek Thy kingdom only and my life be to Thy praise;
Thou alone shall be my glory, nothing in the world I see.
Thou hast cleansed and sanctified me, Thou Thyself hast set me free.
Thou alone shall be my glory, nothing in the world I see.
Thou hast cleansed and sanctified me, Thou Thyself hast set me free.
Testimony - Zach and Sol Whitt
Reading of the Word - John 1:6-13
At the conclusion of the reading, the speaker will say, “The Word of the Lord,” to which we all reply:
Thanks Be To God
Song: No Longer Slaves
You unravel me with a melody, You surround me with a song
Of deliverance from my enemies 'til all my fears are gone
(repeat)
I'm no longer a slave to fear, I am a child of God
I'm no longer a slave to fear, I am a child of God
From my mother's womb, You have chosen me, love has called my name
I’ve been born again into your family, Your blood flows through my veins
You split the sea so I could walk right through it,
My fears were drowned in perfect love!
You rescued me and I will stand and sing, “I am a child of God!”
Song: All I Have And All I Need
The Lord is near the broken hearted
For crushed in spirit He does care
Draw near to Him all His children
No thing too heavy for Him to bear
The Lord redeems my life, I shall not be condemned
When we cry for help, yes our God does hear
If we hide in Him, He does calm our fears
We will thirst no more, the hungry He will feed
He’s all that I have and all that I need
My soul will boast in its savior
Let humble hear and be glad
Oh magnify the lord together
Sing his glory through the night
See this poor man cried, the Lord did rescue him
Yes the Lord is good oh I taste and see
That He’s all that I have and He’s all that I need
Sermon: All Authority (Acts 12:1-24)
For those who call LWF their church home, Randy will lead a time of communion at the end of the sermon video.
Song: There Is A Fountain
There is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains:
Lose all their guilty stains,
Lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed ones of God
Be saved, to sin no more:
Be saved, to sin no more,
Be saved, to sin no more;
Till all the ransomed ones of God,
Be saved to sin no more.
E’er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die:
And shall be till I die,
And shall be till I die;
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die.
When this poor lisping, stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save:
I’ll sing Thy power to save,
I’ll sing Thy power to save;
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy power to save.
Benediction:
May we be compelled by the love of God, the gospel of Jesus, and the presence of the Holy Spirit to pursue His mission for our good and His glory.
